Our wooden hymn art is handmade with love by Kayla Currier, owner of Live Oak Nest. Unfortunately, these have been discontinued due to time constraints. Once they are gone, they will not be restocked. 💕
Each hymn has been transferred to a whitewashed wooden art panel. You will notice distressing on some of the letters and notes, which gives the art piece a beautiful vintage, shabby chic look. See additional details below!
Details:
Jesus Loves Me, This I Know is one of the best-known children's hymns ever written. The theme of this hymn is the assurance of God's love, and a review of what Jesus did for us. In 1860, Anna Warner and her sister Susan wrote a two-volume novel called Say and Seal. Jesus Loves Me This I Know appeared in their book as a poem, and was written to comfort a dying child. In 1861, William Batchelder Bradbury, set the poem to music.
